Chapter 4Emerald City

When they traveled to the end of the yellow brick road, they met the emerald city. “We’ve made it! Look, that is the door full with emeralds” said Dorothy. Dorothy knocked on the door and a man in green uniform appeared. “Please may we see the Great Wizard?’’ asked Dorothy. “I can take you to his palace, but you must wear glasses” Said the man. Then the man gave a pair of green glasses for them.

   Inside, the city was an impossible sight. Everything was green including the sky. When they walked to a grand palace, “We’d like to see the wizard.” Dorothy told the soldier on guard. “Enter one at a time, you first.” He barked.        Dorothy was the first that went inside nervously. “I am the wizard, Why do you seek me?” sounded from giant head. “Well, only if you kill the wicked witch of the west for me. Now go!” it barked.Dorothy was the first that went inside nervously. “I am a wizard. Why do you seek me?” sounded from giant head. “Can you sent me to home at Kansas?” said Dorothy. “Well, if you kill the Wicked Witch of the West for me. Now, go!” it barked.When the scarecrow went inside, a lady with green wings was setting on the throne said “I am the wizard. Why do you seek?” “I am only a scarecrow, I ask you for brains.” “First, you kill the Wicked Witch at the West. Now go!” She ordered him.Next, the tinman went inside met a terrible beast five eyes and five arms. “I am the wizard. Why do you seek me?” roared the beast. “I am tinman,please give me a heart.” said the tinman. The beast told that “Whatever you want, you must first kill the Wicked Witch of the West.The lion went last, it met a ball of fire on the throne. “I am wizard. Why do you seek me? Sounded from fire.“I am a coward, I want courage.” Said the lion “first,kill the Wicked Witch of the West. Now go!” a ball fire said.Outside the palace, everyone were consulting about the order of them. Therefore they walked back to the gate. “Good Luck” said the gatekeeper, pointing out the way to the witch’s castle.

เมื่อพวกเขาเดินทางมาถึงที่สิ้นสุดของทางอิฐสีเหลืองแล้วพวกเขาก็พบกับเมืองมรกต “พวกเราทำได้แล้ว ดูนั่นประตูเต็มไปด้วยมรกต” โดโรธีพูด

                        

โดโรธีเคาะประตูและมีผู้ชายในยูนิฟอร์มสีเขียวปรากฏขึ้น “กรุณาให้ฉันเข้าไปพบพ่อมดผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ได้ไหมคะ”โดโรธีถาม “ฉันสามารถพาคุณเข้าไปในวังของเขาได้แต่คุณต้องใส่แว่นก่อน” ผู้ชายพูด จากนั้นผู้ชายคนนั้นก็มอบแว่นตาให้พวกเขา

         

ภายในเมืองพบเห็นแต่สิ่งที่เป็นไปไม่ได้ ทุกๆสิ่งเป็นสีเขียวไปหมดรวมไปถึงท้องฟ้าด้วย เมื่อพวกเขาเดินเข้ามาในวังใหญ่ “พวกเราอยากพบพ่อมด” โดโรธีบอกกับทหารที่เป็นการ์ด “เข้าไปครั้งละคน,คุณคนแรก”เขาตะคอก

โดโรธีเข้าไปข้างในเป็นแรกอย่างหวาดกลัว “ฉันเป็นพ่อมด ทำไมคุณถึงตามหาฉัน” เสียงจากหัวใหญ่ยักษ์ “ช่วยส่งฉันกลับบ้านที่เมืองแคนซัสได้ไหมคะ” โดโรธีพูด “ได้ ถ้าคุณฆ่าแม่มดชั่วร้ายที่ทางทิศตะวักตกให้ฉันก่อน ไปตอนนี้เลย” เขาตะคอก

เมื่อโดโรธีเข้าไปข้างในมีผู้หญิงปีกสีเขียวนั่งอยู่บนบัลลังก์พูดว่า “ ฉันเป็นพ่อมด ทำไมคุณตามหาฉัน” หุ่นไล่กาตอบว่า “ ฉันเป็นเพียงหุ่นไล่กา

 ฉันขอสมองกับคุณได้ไหม” ก่อนอื่นคุณต้องฆ่าแม่มดชั่วร้ายให้ได้ก่อน ไปตอนนี้เลย” เธอสั่งเขา

ต่อมา หุ่นกระป๋องเข้าไปข้างในพบกับสัตว์ประหลาดน่ากลัวมีห้าตาห้าแขน “ฉันเป็นพ่อมด ทำไมคุณถึงตามหาฉัน”เสียงคำรามของสัตว์ประหลาด “ฉันเป็นหุ่นกระป๋อง ได้โปรดมอบหัวใจให้ฉันด้วย” สัตว์ประหลาดบอกเขาว่า “อะไรก็ตามที่คุณต้องการกก็จะได้แต่ต้องฆ่าแม่มดชั่วร้ายให้ฉันก่อน”

สิงโตเข้าไปเป็นคนสุดท้าย มันพบกับลูกบอลไฟบนบัลลังก์ “ฉันเป็นพ่อมด ทำไมคุณถึงตามหาฉัน” เสียงจากลูกบอลไฟ “ฉันเป็นคนขี้ขลาด ฉันต้องการความกล้าหาญ”สิงโตพูด ก่อนอื่นคุณต้องไปฆ่าแม่มดชั่วร้ายเสียก่อน ไปตอนนี้” ลูกบอลไฟพูด

พอออกมานอกวัง ทุกคนพูดปรึกษาเกี่ยวกับคำสั่งของพวกเขา ดังนั้นพวกเขาจึงเดินกลับออกจากประตู “โชคดี” ผู้รักษาประตูพูดและชี้บอกทางไปปราสาทแม่มด

Chapter 3:A dangerous journey

            Dorothy and her companions met a deep ditch that bar their way. The tinman cut down the tree made their bridge for cross the ditch. While they were across the ditch, the tiger monster was following them.When they saw that the tinman cut away the bridge and the tiger monster fell down to the ditch. Soon, the companions faced with a big trouble that the wide river “we need a raft” mumbled scarecrow. The tinman set to work once again. The raft float on the water happily and later they ashore safely. Safely over the river, they went through field be full of poppies. Which the scent very smell. Suddenly, Dorothy lied down into the flowers. “The poppies sent her …to…sleep’’ The lion called together with fall down. Quickly. The scarecrow and the tinman who weren’t made of fresh, laid Dorothy in open air and help together pushing and pulling the lion to safety.

            โดโรธีและเพื่อนร่วมเดินทางของเธอพบกับคูน้ำลึกซึ่งขวางทางพวกเขาอยู่ หุ่นกระป๋องจึงได้ตัดต้นไม้ลงเพื่อทำสะพานสำหรับข้ามคูน้ำ ขณะที่พวกเขากำลังข้ามคูน้ำมีเสือดุร้ายกำลังตามพวกเขามา เมื่อพวกเขาเห็นดังนั้นหุ่นกระป๋องจึงตัดสะพานและเสือดุร้ายจึงตกลงไปในคูน้ำ ไม่นานเพื่อนร่วมเดินทางเผชิญหน้ากับอุปสรรคอันยิ่งใหญ่คือแม่น้ำอันกว้างใหญ่ “พวกเราอยากได้แพนะ” หุ่นไล่กาบ่นพึมพรำ แล้วหุ่นกระป๋องจึงตั้งหน้าทำงานอีกครั้งหนึ่ง แพก็ได้ลอยไปตามน้ำอย่างมีความสุขและต่อมาก็พวกเขาก็ขึ้นฝั่งอย่างปลอดภัย

Chapter 2A scarecrow, a tinman and a lion

Dorothy and Toto stared the journey to Emerald City. They passed a field and met a scarecrow which looked so boring. “Can I help you? asked Dorothy. “It’s very boring stuck up here, I need brains!’’ answered a scarecrow. “ What about you? ’’ “We going to meet great wizard and ask for help.’’ She said. “Why don’t you come with us? The evening, they arrived the jungle and sat together under big tree. Suddenly they found a man made of tin who a woodman, “Are you ok?” asked Dorothy. “No, I can’t move” said the tinman. Dorothy helped the tinman. “I going to see the Great wizard for get to home.” Said Dorothy. “Oh, do you think the wizard give me a heart? ’’ he asked “I hope so, and let’s go with us” Dorothy invited.

โดโรธีและโตโต้เริ่มออกเดินทางไปยังเมืองมรกต พวกเขาผ่านทุ่งนาและพบกับหุ่นไล่กาซึ่งดูเหมือนว่าเบื่อมาก “มีอะไรให้ฉันช่วยไหม” โดโรธีถาม “ฉันเบื่อมากกับการที่ติดอยู่บนนี้ ฉันต้องการสมอง” “แล้วเธอล่ะ”หุ่นไล่กาตอบ “เรากำลังจะเดินทางไปพบพ่อมดผู้ยิ่งใหญ่และขอความช่วยเหลือ” “ทำไมคุณไม่ไปกับเราล่ะ” โดโรธีพูดในตอนเย็นพวกเขามาถึงป่าใหญ่และนั่งลงใต้ต้นไม้ใหญ่ ทันใดนั้นพวกเขาก็พบกับหุ่นกระป๋องที่เป็นคนตัดไม้       “คุณโอเคไหม” โดโรธีถาม            “ไม่ ฉันขยับไม่ได้” หุ่นกระป๋องพูด โดโรธีจึงเข้าไปช่วยหุ่นกระป๋อง“ฉันจะไปพบพ่อมดผู้ยิ่งใหญ่เพื่อช่วยให้กลับบ้าน” โดโรธีพูด “โอ้ คุณคิดว่าพ่อมดจะให้หัวใจกับฉันไหม” หุ่นกระป๋องพูด“ฉันหวังว่าอย่างนั้น ป่ะ ไปด้วยกัน”โดโรธีเอ่ยชวน

นิทานแสนสนุก

    มหัศจรรย์พ่อมดแห่งออซ

                                                                     

                                                  Chapter 1 :The cyclone 

                       There was a house on a lonely farm in kansas. Dorathy is a little girl who lived with her Uncle Henry, her Aunt Em and a little dog Toto. One day, Uncle Henry and Aunt Em went to the farm work. Later, the left for a while. Dorothy and Toto went outside. Suddenly, The wind storm Cyclone was coming !“ Came back home Toto.”Said Dorothy. While they hid in the house, the strong cyclone whirled the house into the sky. When the house landed at an area called “Oz”, Dorothy opened the door and looked around. She met people in pointed hats.“Welcome to Oz, you’re just killed the Wicked Witch of the East.” aman said. “No! Who? , What? , I can’t killed anyone.” Dorothy answered. After that a woman handed them silvery shoes to Dorothy.Dorothy took the shoes in a cloze and asked the way to Kansas. “I don’t know but maybe the Grate wizard who lived in Emerald City can help you and you can walk along the yellow brick road.” She answered.

                     มีบ้านหลังหนึ่งซึ่งอยู่ห่างไกลจากผู้คนในรัฐแคนซัส โดโรธี อาศัยอยู่กับลุงเฮนลี่และป้าเอ็มพร้อมกับสุนัขชื่อโตโต้ วันหนึ่งลุงเฮนรี่และป้าเอ็มออกไปทำงานที่ฟาร์ม หลังจากนั้นไม่นานโดโรธีกับโตโต้ก็ออกไปเล่นนอกบ้าน ทันใดนั้นก็มีพายุไซโคลนกำลังพัดมาโดโรธีจึงชวนโตโต้กลับเข้าบ้าน ขณะที่พวกเขาซ่อนตัวอยู่ในบ้านพายุไซโคลนจึงพัดเอาบ้านลอยขึ้นไปบนท้องฟ้า . เมื่อบ้านตกลงมายังพื้นดินที่ถูกเรียกว่า “ออซ” โดโรธีเปิดประตูออกมาและมองรอบๆ เธอพบกับคนที่ใส่หมวกแหลม พร้อมกับเอ่ยว่า “ยินดีต้อนรับสู่ดินแดนแห่งออซ คุณคือคนที่จะฆ่าแม่มดใจร้าย“ไม่ ใคร อะไร ฉันจะไม่ฆ่าใครทั้งนั้น” โดโรธีตอบหลังจากนั้นก็มีผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งมอบรองเท้าสีเงินให้กับโดโรธี  โดโรธีใส่รองเท้าด้วยความงวยงงและถามถึงทางไปเมืองแคนซัส “ฉันไม่รู้แต่พ่อมดผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ที่อาศัยอยู่ในเมืองมรกตอาจช่วยเธอได้และให้เธอไปตามถนนอิฐ สีเหลืองนะ” เธอตอบ
